Dimitri Hempel is CEO, Co-Founder, and Executive Producer of the Berlin-based creative film production company EASYdoesit, founded in 2012. He produces award-winning commercials, music videos, photography campaigns, and documentaries, consistently bringing creative visions to life with precision and impact.

Trained as a Director of Photography at ZeLIG Filmschool (2006), Dimitri has extensive experience in TV and cinema productions. He specializes in dynamic handheld camera techniques that capture vibrant, energetic moments in a cinematic style. In addition, he is proficient with classic cinematographic equipment such as dollies, cranes, car rigs, drones, and even filming from skateboards or helicopters.

Beyond his creative expertise, Dimitri brings strong skills in project management, team leadership, client relations, and financial controlling.

Since 2022, he is part of the board of the Produktionsallianz Werbung, focusing on sustainability and promoting ecological responsibility within the advertising industry. He was awarded the first sustainability award "Die Giraffe" and was in the jury for the DWP 2025 Award.

In 2024, Dimitri joined the AG AI working group, which initiated an AI Masterclass 2025, organized by Hamburg Media School in cooperation with Produktionsallianz Werbung to prepare creatives for the industry's transformation. In hands-on seminars, top experts teach how AI can be effectively used across all production phases.

Additionally, he is building an AI roster for EASYdoesit that brings together AI talents from various fields to represent not only traditional directors but also AI artists. In collaboration with these creatives, several photo and video productions have already been realized.
